Synopsis;
Alice’s stories of Wonderland did more than raise a few eyebrows—it landed her in an asylum. Now at 15 years of age, she’s willing to do anything to leave, which includes agreeing to an experimental procedure. When Alice decides at the last minute not to go through with it, she escapes with the White Rabbit to Wonderland and trades one mad house for another: the court of the Queen of Hearts. Only this time, she is under orders to take out the Queen. When love, scandal, and intrigue begin to muddle her mission, Alice finds herself on the wrong side of the chopping block.
My Review;
It’s been a while since I’ve read or watched Alice In Wonderland and I thoroughly enjoyed this book. I loved that this book kicks off with Alice at 15 years old and was put in an asylum after her stories about her first trip to Wonderland. I also found Alice in Wonderland to be one of those books I never forget especially the characters. I have to admit Ralph the Rabbit has to be my favourite character from Wonderland. I loved that most of the sayings were backwards too like utter in-importance and mind your shoe wax, I found myself giggling to myself at some of the mad things they were saying.
All in all I really enjoyed reading this book, diving back into Alice’s life and exploring more of Wonderland. You would be “off with your head” if you don’t enjoy this book😂
